SONY PSP OLED CONCEPT FLEXIBLE ROLL-UP GAMING DEVICE

So this is what you get when you mix a concept of a Sony PSP with the latest super-slim, energy efficient flexible OLED technology!

Well it looks like another super cool and highly innovative proto-type device using the advanced electronic flexible OLED displays, what is also known as FOLED. This compact, roll-up FOLED display, e-reader combo PSP gaming device, is the high tech stuff gadget freaks dream of to be on store shelves. This concept PSP is similar in design mimicking the future display technology from the sci-fi flick ” Minority Report”, this type of application of ultra-thin organic, flexible screens with the capability to feature video at an amazingly high resolution that’s expected by OLED, all neatly packed within one portable, compact case.

Created by the Chinese designer Tai Chiem this example of an organic PSP allows the FOLED display to wrap around the systems electronics within the inner core of the device so it can charge up the player. When activated the FOLED screen unwraps the full display from the case showing a bezeless, razorthin 1mm-3mm display, as the display unwraps the outer perimeter of the screen stiffens up to allow for the best watching experience.

For gamers on the go this unit would be the ultimate must have. This unit comes with built0in speakers are mounted at either end of the baton like case plus act as a jog-wheel plus camera controls along with two PSP joysticks that Sony shpuld take note of.

The applications and spin-off products from such designs are simply unending and the future of the OLED industry is in its infancy. In time we will be living our lives using these similar high tech, organic based portable media and communication smart devices.
